Hey, we missed you! 👋 We’re back with more tips, news and insights into the world of HR, and we’re joined by our pups — it is National Mutt Day, after all. So, let’s get to it! woof

In today’s edition:

SPOTLIGHT

All rise for borderless employment 🌎

people across globe

With remote work now widely accepted in the tech industry (and in general), employers are keen to hire talent globally — and employees are eager to work from anywhere.

This trend, which gained momentum during the COVID-19 pandemic, has led to borderless employment becoming the norm, with 58 % of tech companies already employing remote workers from other countries. And it makes sense: it gives companies access to high-quality services and talent — at better prices. 💰

John Caplan, CEO of Payoneer, emphasizes that global opportunities require the right tools and a hybrid work model, which has grown during the pandemic, increasing access to diverse talent.

Maor Levran, CEO of Slice, also notes this acceleration, particularly in favorable tax regions like Florida and Texas, as well as in Europe due to recent legislative changes. ⚖️

A BCG survey, meanwhile, reveals that 66 % of employees are willing to work for foreign employers without ever going to the office, up from 57 % in 2020. The highest interest is in South America and Africa, with North America showing the lowest at 55%.

This shift signifies a growing trend of global employment and the rising openness of both employers and employees to cross-border work opportunities.
